The seeds for MPH were planted back in the early 80's, when Toosh met Jamie while both attending UW Stevens Point.  A common love of the Beatles helped forge an undeniable musical alliance. Both remained friends throughout the ensuing years and in 1995 they decided to put a band together for a one time performance in the Gillett 4th of July parade.  Well, what do ya know the band was a hit and took first place in the "Best of Parade" category!  One thing lead to another and MPH continues to play gigs on a regular basis.  They are a yearly highlight of the Seymour Burger Festival and also play at Anduzzi's and "The Bar" on Holmgren Way, which are two of the most popular venues in Green Bay!!
